Focus on sustainability - BAUER at the boot trade fair 2024 This year, the BAUER KOMPRESSOREN stand at the world's largest water sports trade fair in Düsseldorf has an unusual look: chairs made of old pallets invite you to sit in the lounge area and the new products are placed on pedestals made of recycled cardboard. The outer wall is also made of the new resource-saving filter cartridge packaging of the same material. The overarching theme of this year's stand is environmental protection and sustainability: large-format photos on the stand walls impressively illustrate the work of the Baltic Sea Nature & Heritage Protection Association e.V. The association is dedicated to the recovery of lost nets, so-called ghost nets, which would otherwise be the undoing of many fish, pollute the environment with microplastics and damage old, culturally and historically valuable wrecks.

BAUER has been supporting this important project for years with a PE-TE 300 mobile air compressor from BAUER KOMPRESSOREN. Great diving adventures can also be experienced on holiday without long-distance trips that have a negative impact on the climate. Professional underwater photographer and journalist Gerald Nowak proves this with his lectures at the diving tower: With great pictures, he takes the audience into the fascinating underwater world of the Alpine lakes. He generated the required breathing air directly on site with a portable "JUNIOR II" breathing air compressor from BAUER. With its compactness and portability, it made it possible to dive in sometimes remote mountain areas that would have been difficult to carry out otherwise.

In the product area, visitors flock mainly to the PE-NITROX MEMBRANE. The brand-new product highlight at the booth is produced by NITROX in accordance with the uncompromising BAUER safety standard and combines compact dimensions with a particularly attractive price.
